The USBcan Pro 4xCAN Silent is a cutting-edge, compact, and highly versatile four-channel CAN/CAN FD to USB real-time interface. Unlike traditional CAN interfaces, this revolutionary device is specifically designed to operate in a silent mode, also known as ‘listen-only’. By leveraging advanced hardware technology, it ensures that the interface remains completely silent on the CAN bus, with zero transmission capability.
TK Engineering installed TCS-10 CAN switches in an energy storage system (ESS) in the Netherlands. The system can store energy from the grid, ideally when produced by the vast quantities of local renewables, and then supply the grid with stored energy during periods of high demand. This system reduces the need for fossil based balancing plants and when used in conjunction with low-carbon renewables reduce the energy system carbon footprint significantly.
CAN FD is now supported when using Kvaser CAN FD. Long CAN FD messages can be received and displayed in the trace window, signals from long CAN FD messages can be decoded and shown in the data and graph tabs. There is also full support for logging and playback of CAN FD messages in ASC format.
