TKE Wireless CAN Diagnostics Package
TKE Wireless CAN Diagnostics package – Everything you need for wireless CAN data logging and analyzing
Package includes CAN analyzer software, a pair of wireless CAN bridge interfaces and a traditional CAN interface for data logging. This package includes plug-and-play units to rapidly exchange raw CAN data to analyzer software for further analysis. The package is designed for use cases where a traditional wired connection is unsuitable or challenging to implement.
With the use of wireless CAN technology otherwise difficult use cases can be efficiently solved e.g. connection between two moving machine parts. Wireless CAN Analyzer package suitable in various applications as a maintenance tool and troubleshooting services for heavy-duty vehicles, material handling, logistics, crane connections, mining vehicles, construction equipment and agricultural machinery.
Package Usage
The TKE wireless diagnostics package is a complete solution for your wireless CAN connectivity needs. With the use of Kvaser CAN bridge interfaces existing CAN networks can be extended wirelessly. The Kvaser CAN bridge interfaces automatically form a point-to-point radio link to ensure reliable communication between the parties. With the plug-and-play functionality of the interfaces they can easily be integrated into existing CAN networks. Using the included hardware the extended network communication can be monitored, analyzed and controlled.
Wireless Application Use Cases
The TKE wireless diagnostics package can be used in use cases where a traditional wired connection is not suitable or impossible. A wireless connection can be used in use cases where the target application is moving or in a hard to reach location. Wireless connection can be used to replace cabling that gets strained by application movement. With the use of wireless connectivity state-of-the-art maintenance, configuration and human-machine-interface (HMI) applications can be created.
What is Included ?
CANtrace CAN bus – Analyzer Software
CANtrace is a powerful CAN BUS analyzer supporting CANopen and J1939 protocols. It offers real-time tracing, decoding, and plotting of CAN messages and signals. Compatible with popular hardware like Kvaser, Softing, Vector, or Peak.
Python & CAN FD Support
In addition, CANtrace seamlessly integrates Python scripts for extended functionality. CANtrace supports CAN/CAN FD decoding, enabling CAN FD frames to be decoded with the use of a DBC database eliminating the need for manual decoding. Its user-friendly interface suits various devices, from laptops to rugged tablets, making it ideal for vehicle diagnostics or industrial applications.
CANtrace supports Vector ASCII format CAN log files, enabling playback for simulation, testing, and bus traffic generation. Its graphical presentation allows plotting of multiple signals in an XY graph, supporting J1939 signals and manufacturer-specific DBC databases. Signals can be scaled and moved using mouse commands, with color-coded clarity for better visualization. Users can easily print or save graphs for inclusion in reports or websites, enhancing the analysis of CAN bus data.
Kvaser Air Bridge Light HS – Wireless CAN Bridge
Kvaser Air Bridge, a configuration-free wireless CAN bridge ensuring stable connections in challenging environments. With pre configured plug-and-play units, it rapidly exchanges raw CAN data, supporting J1939, CANopen, NMEA 2000, and DeviceNet protocols.
Enhanced Operation With Rugged IP65 Rating
It has a rugged aluminum housing, IP65-rated for outdoor installations, withstands harsh conditions with an extended temperature range from -40 to +70 °C. Operating at speeds up to 1 Mbit/s, it supports both 11-bit and 29-bit identifiers. The Air Bridge controls data rate and packet format for predictable latencies without sacrificing stability or range, ideal for infrastructure and control applications where reliable message delivery is essential.
Kvaser Leaf V3 – CAN Interface
Kvaser Leaf v3 simplifies computer connectivity to CAN bus networks with its USB 2.0 and 9-pin D-SUB connections, ideal for environments with limited space. It handles up to 20,000 messages per second with accurate time stamping within 50 microseconds and ensures reliable operations. With added support for CAN FD and silent mode, it is a versatile solution for monitoring and transmitting CAN and CAN FD messages.
T-Cannector v2
The Kvaser T-Cannector v2, a CAN bus hub, features three female and one male D-SUB9 connectors. With adjustable circuit termination (120 Ohm, 60 Ohm, or unterminated), the hub provides an efficient and ease-of-use way of connecting CAN devices together. Ideal for software and hardware development without internal power.
