The Kvaser Leaf v3 M12 is a versatile and reliable interface for connecting a computer to a CAN bus network in automation, industrial, and marine environments. It features a 5-pin A-coded M12 connector, widely used for CAN bus connections in maritime and industrial automation applications.
Galvanic isolation
Capable of handling up to 20,000 messages per second, each timestamped with 50-microsecond accuracy, the Leaf v3 M12 requires no external power and features standard galvanic isolation.
The Kvaser Leaf v3 is a successor to the Kvaser Leaf Light HS v2 with D-SUB connector. For rugged and higher voltage applications, the Kvaser U100 remains the best choice, whilst multichannel USB to CAN interfaces can be found in the Kvaser USBcan range.
