WCS-10 Receives DNV GL Certification for Marine CAN Connectivity

WCS-10 Marine Certified CAN Switch / Bridge has been certified by DNV GL for use in GL classed vessels. We have updated this certificate for the latest WCS-10 release.

With thousands delivered to the marine industry the WCS-10 ensures safe segmentation of CAN networks in ships all over the world. TKE WCS-10 is certified for environmental category D, EMC 1 as well as software class 3. The certificate number is TAA00002DV. WCS-10 stands as a reliable solution, guaranteeing secure segmentation of CAN networks, contributing to enhanced safety and functionality in maritime environments.

Compliance and Approval in Maritime Applications

DNV certify, that the network and communication components with type designation WCS-10 issued to TK Engineering Oy, Vaasa, Finland is found to comply with DNV rules for  classification (ect. ships, offshore units, and high speed and light craft). Products approved by this certificate are accepted for installation on all vessels classed by DNV. With this certification, the products covered by the approval are officially recognized and approved for installation under DNV’s classification. This underlines their compliance with industry standards and ensures their suitability for use in a wide range of maritime contexts.
