Maximum performance
Vuotari Racing has a sophisticated setup to optimize the performance of their Honda Civic Type R. They make use of the Kvaser Leaf Pro v2 OBDII device, conveniently plugged under the dash for seamless data collection. This enables them to gather information effortlessly. This OBDII device is connected to a PC that runs two powerful software tools: TKE CANtrace and Zuragon’s ViCANdo. By utilizing these software applications, Vuotari Racing can effectively analyze and monitor the CAN data during rally sprints. This ensures that the car is performing at its peak level of performance. Not only does CANtrace decode and plot the CAN messages, but it also records video and audio signals for comprehensive post-testing analysis.
The team can effortlessly view the CAN signals in trace and graph views, while also having the ability to export the data to various formats for in-depth analysis. Additionally, Zuragon ViCANdo provides access to synchronized video and audio recordings, capturing the complete testing experience.
By leveraging this advanced setup, Vuotari Racing gains valuable insights into the car’s performance and can make informed adjustments to enhance their racing capabilities.
