The ReXgen 2 IMU is an upgraded version of the ReXgen 2, with added GNSS, gyro, and accelerometer support.
It offers the same durability and cost-effectiveness as its predecessor but is geared towards applications that require a CAN 2.0, CAN FD, or LIN flight data recorder, with vibration and position tracking even in GPS-signal-absent environments. The ReXgen 2 IMU is ideal for recording data for shared cars, motorcycles, or off-road vehicles.
It doesn’t need to be connected to a computer to record data and comes with configuration software that supports silent mode, CAN monitoring, message filtering, SAE-J1939 logging, and event triggering.

Rexgen 2 IMU comes with an integrated, highly-advanced and accurate GNSS module (using U-Blox Neo M8 Series)
One interface
- Evaluate signals from the GNSS (QZSS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo) satellites
- With a position accuracy of 2.0m CEP
- Log GNSS data at sampling rates of up to 18HZ
- Send your GNSS data to eMMC storage or CAN with support for up to 13 different parameters such as position input, speed, altitude etc

- Acceleration output of ±2/±4/±8/±16 g at full scale at max sampling rate-1KHz
- Gyroscope’s angular output data rate- up to 1KHz with ±125/±250/±500/±1000/±2000 dps at full scale

Connect the ‘ReXgen 2 IMU’ to your computer and configure the device to work with your vehicle using the included configuration tool ReXdesk, or configure it using your custom applications with our open API.

Power Consumption
Power consumption is an important aspect when battery life is considered in electric or internal combustion vehicle. Will the data logger drain the battery when the vehicle is powered down? Or can you leave it on the vehicle for months with confidence?

ReXdesk Configuration Software
Influx Technologies distributes ReXdesk as freely available configuration software and a general-purpose tool for working with ReXgen. Designed to make CAN bus data logging easy.
ReXdesk supports multiple DBC files enabling configurations that include filters and log on parameter values.
This software supports ReXgen throughout its entire lifetime, providing tools for:
