K-TC Thermocouple CAN Bus Data Logger
The K-TC is a flexible thermocouple data logger designed for temperature measurement, standalone logging, and CAN bus integration. It supports up to 32 thermocouple inputs and enables temperature data to be logged locally, transmitted over CAN, or monitored live via USB.
The device supports K, J, and T-type thermocouples and features galvanic isolation, cold junction compensation, and high-resolution measurement accuracy for demanding automotive, industrial, and laboratory applications. Ideal for engineers and test teams who need accurate multi-channel thermocouple measurements with CAN integration, standalone logging, and synchronized vehicle or machine data acquisition.
Key Features
- Standalone Logging + CAN Integration:
Log temperature data directly to internal storage or transmit synchronized thermocouple data over the CAN bus for real-time monitoring and analysis. - Supports Up to 32 Thermocouple Channels:
Available in 8, 16, or 32-channel versions with support for K, J, and T-type thermocouples. Multiple units can be stacked and daisy-chained for larger measurement systems. - High Accuracy with Galvanic Isolation:
Features galvanic isolation across USB, CAN, power, and thermocouple boards together with cold junction compensation for accurate and reliable temperature measurements. - Three Operating Modes:
Supports standalone data logging, thermocouple-to-CAN transmission, and live USB-to-PC monitoring using K-CAL software. - Wide Temperature Measurement Range:
Measures temperatures from -200 °C to +1200 °C with high measurement resolution and stability. - Free Configuration & Visualization Software:
K-CAL software enables live oscilloscope-style visualization, CAN configuration, DBC generation, calibration, and data export to third-party tools
Functionality
The K-TC operates in three different modes: standalone data logging, thermocouple-to-CAN transmission, and live USB-to-PC monitoring. This allows users to capture temperature data locally, integrate it into CAN-based systems, or visualize measurements in real time using the K-CAL software.
The included K-CAL software enables configuration of CAN settings, calibration, sampling rates, DBC generation, and oscilloscope-style live data visualization. Recorded data can be exported into multiple formats for further analysis in third-party tools.
