Kvaser Leaf v3 J1939-13 is a reliable tool for connecting a computer to a CAN bus network, enabling the monitoring and transmission of CAN and CAN FD data. It features a USB Type-A connector and a 9-pin J1939-13 Type II connector; the latter is commonly used for diagnostics and communication in heavy-duty vehicles.
The Type II connector, colour-coded in green and supporting either 250 Kbps or 500 Kbps, is backward-compatible with the older Type I connector, colour-coded in black and limited to 250 Kbps.
